Multi-objective optimization of disc brake structure based on heat transfer performance

As an important basis for its structural optimization design, the heat transfer performance has a key influence on reliability of automobile brake. Based finite element method, transient disc brake is analyzed under condition dynamic convection coefficient. According to simulation results, CCD (Central Composite Design) sampling scheme used transform variable and target into multiple design points in decision space. The includes total thickness, height ventilation slot, angle between sides ribs, number ribs while mass temperature peak. quadratic regression model, response surface function constructed, approximate model analysis obtained. error shows that equipped with good fitting accuracy. In order facilitate extremum search, quality transformed constraint condition, multi-objective problem single objective problem. Through sequential programming Pareto optimal solution set mathematical found. results show peak value reduced by 7.8 % where plate basically unchanged. By weighting sets different intervals, result evaluation panel achieved.
